Taylor Swift-themed afternoon tea on a vintage London sightseeing bus — sing along while passing Buckingham Palace and Big Ben
A vintage double-decker bus wrapped in Taylor Swift theming departs from Victoria twice daily, carrying passengers through central London while they tuck into a themed afternoon tea. The soundtrack is wall-to-wall Taylor Swift, from her earliest country hits to the latest album tracks, played through the onboard sound system as the bus weaves past London's most famous landmarks.
You will eat red velvet cake, mini doughnuts, macarons, chocolate eclairs and freshly baked scones while the bus passes Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, the Tower of London and the River Thames. A glass of Prosecco is included with every adult ticket, and each guest takes home a souvenir mug.
Golden Tours launched the Taylor Swift Inspired Afternoon Tea Bus as part of its growing fleet of themed sightseeing experiences departing from Victoria. The tour combines a full afternoon tea service with a 90-minute loop through central London aboard a vintage double-decker bus, with Taylor Swift's music playing throughout.
The bus departs from Golden Tours Stop 1 on Bulleid Way, just behind Victoria station, and follows a route that takes in Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, the River Thames and the Tower of London. Unlike hop-on-hop-off tours, the bus does not stop — passengers remain seated throughout, eating and sightseeing simultaneously.
The afternoon tea menu is built around sweet treats with a few savoury items. Red velvet cake, mini doughnuts, macarons, chocolate eclairs and freshly baked scones with clotted cream and jam sit alongside wraps and finger sandwiches. Drinks include strawberry bubble tea, fresh juice, tea, coffee and hot chocolate, all included in the ticket price. Adults receive a glass of Prosecco; under-18s get a soft drink.
Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free menus are available but must be requested at least 24 hours before departure. The kitchen cannot accommodate requests made on the day.
Tours depart daily at 12:15 and 15:15. All tickets must be booked in advance through the Golden Tours website or by calling 020 7630 2028. Arrive at least 15 minutes before departure — the bus leaves promptly and cannot wait for latecomers. E-tickets are accepted on your phone.
Children aged 15 and under must be accompanied by a paying adult. Under-5s are not permitted on any tour. There are no toilets on board and the 90-minute tour has no stops. Guests may be asked to share tables during busy departures. One wheelchair-accessible position is available on the lower deck.
Prices vary by date, time and deck selection — free cancellation up to 48 hours before departure, 100% charge after that
