London is one of the great sporting capitals of the world, home to Premier League football clubs, international cricket grounds, tennis at Wimbledon, and the 2012 Olympic Park. Many of the city's major venues offer stadium tours that take you behind the scenes even when there is no match on.

Wembley Stadium is the home of English football, with a capacity of 90,000 and a tour that takes you through the players' tunnel, dressing rooms, and up to the Royal Box. The Oval in Kennington is London's other major cricket venue, with its own tours and a lively atmosphere during the summer international season.

Most stadium tours run year-round and should be booked online in advance. Match-day tickets for Premier League football can be difficult to get, but the tours are a reliable way to experience these iconic sporting venues regardless of the fixture schedule.
