Adults-only immersive fairground in Canary Wharf — reimagined classic games, street food and cocktails in a neon-lit playground
Fairgame is a neon-drenched, tech-powered fairground built for adults in the heart of Canary Wharf. Nine reimagined classics — Roll-A-Ball Derby, Skeeball, Dunk The Junk, Beaky Finders, Feeding Frenzy and more — are wired to personalised digital leaderboards that track every throw, roll and whack across your group. The venue opened in late 2022 and bills itself as the world's first immersive fairground for grown-ups.
Sessions last 75 minutes and include all nine games, with two attempts at each. Between rounds, three street food vendors serve burgers from Burger&Beyond, Neapolitan pizza from Rudy's and tacos from Dos Mas, while the Bumper Bars pour frozen margaritas, craft beer and fairground-themed cocktails. It is a popular choice for birthdays, hen parties and corporate nights out.
Fairgame occupies a 22,000 square foot space on Fisherman's Walk in Canary Wharf, a short stroll from the waterfront at West India Quay. The interior is designed to feel like a permanent indoor fairground — neon signage, striped canopies and carnival lighting create an atmosphere somewhere between a vintage funfair and a modern bar. The venue opened in late 2022 and quickly became one of east London's most popular competitive socialising destinations.
Entry is restricted to over-eighteens only. Sessions are booked in advance and last 75 minutes, during which groups move between nine game stations at their own pace. A tap card issued at the door links to your personal digital profile, tracking scores across every game and feeding them to giant leaderboards around the venue.
All nine games are reimagined versions of fairground classics, upgraded with sensors, cameras and digital scoring. Roll-A-Ball Derby is the centrepiece — a multi-lane horse-racing game where players roll balls into targets to advance their horse. Skeeball has you rolling balls up a ramp into scoring rings. Dunk The Junk challenges you to throw balls into a bin whose lid snaps open and shut. Beaky Finders is a high-tech hook-a-duck, while Feeding Frenzy is a shooting game with moving targets. Each game gives you two attempts, and your best score counts.
The competitive element is what sets Fairgame apart from a standard night out. Leaderboards update in real time, and the venue crowns a session champion at the end. Return visitors can build on previous scores, adding a reason to come back.
Three street food vendors operate inside the venue. Burger&Beyond serves smashed burgers, loaded fries and tater tots. Rudy's Pizza Napoletana fires Neapolitan pizzas in 500-degree ovens using 24-hour double-fermented dough. Dos Mas Tacos offers slow-cooked meats and plant-based options on hand-pressed corn tortillas with fresh guacamole.
The Bumper Bars run the length of the venue, serving fairground-themed cocktails, frozen margaritas, London-brewed craft beer and small-batch spirits. Drinks are not included in the standard entry price but can be added through packages.
Advance booking is required through the Fairgame website or SevenRooms. Standard entry starts from around £15 per person and includes all nine games. Packages combining games with food and drinks start from £35. Group bookings for eight or more people and full venue private hire are also available.
Fairgame sits within the wider Canary Wharf estate, which offers plenty of restaurants and bars along the waterfront. The Museum of London Docklands at West India Quay is a two-minute walk for a free pre-game cultural stop. Crossrail Place Roof Garden, a tranquil indoor garden above the Elizabeth line station, is five minutes away.
Prices vary by day and time slot — off-peak weekday sessions are cheapest. Book online in advance for the best rates.
Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon slots are the cheapest and quietest. You will have more space at each game and shorter waits between stations.
You will be on your feet for the full 75 minutes, moving between nine game stations. Heels are not ideal — trainers or flats work best.
Street food vendors are inside the venue so you can grab a burger or pizza between games. Alternatively, eat beforehand at West India Quay restaurants.
Check-in and tap card setup takes a few minutes. Arriving early means you start your 75-minute session on time without losing game time.
The Bumper Bar frozen margaritas are a house favourite and suit the fairground atmosphere. Ask staff for the seasonal special if you want something different.
